Yeah, it does feel more like a KIRA song (like Sparks and DO U) than most of the stuff on her album

I just think PoV she just chose the wrong song to be main song, Pineapple isn't all that good but Kiara really wanted a Summer party song. Retrospective is a much better song because for once she also co-wrote it and it has a bit more of a rock feel, but Kiara isn't confident enough to push that song. But that nothing on PoV sounds like DO U of Chimera is on purpose, she made the album to try new things out.

But Chimera is one of her best songs to date, the MV is second only to DO U, and other Holos as well seem to like it, so hopefully that success will help her brainworms.

I am totally normal about takamori, this will not at all spur my brain on for weeks to come

Considering how much Cloudhoe has piggybacked off other streamers/company drama in order to clickbait for views, I wouldn't put it past her to be in a relationship while deep in GFE. The amount of times in the past when I used to bother with her streams and she chalked up background/house movement sounds to 'the man upstairs' who I think she insinuated was some kind of relative or something, nah man. When my girl moved her setup into my apartment she went from a household of 5 to just us, but she kept using the explanation that she lives with family for any sounds of other people in the background.

Honestly, I find the idea of being drawn into GFE so deep you get actually heartbroken when it's not real to be actually insane. I still listen to GFE ASMR content now and then because I like the fantasy ideation but I know half these women are whispering "I love you baby" into a microphone for an hour or two then getting dicked down by their partners later that night and I don't give a shit. I don't get why it's so hard for people to detach the content and the creator and just appreciate the fantasy these people are making. I will continue to blame the consumers that swallow the hook for doing it to themselves, you can consume GFE without becoming delusional about it, but these people throw themselves in so hard they let themselves get exploited and then get mad because an actor doesn't love them for real for real.

If they wanted to be smarter with their money, they could hire a GFE escort, get all the kind of care and attention of a GFE experience for real with the bonus you get to fuck them too. If they're going to akasupa or donate hundreds of dollars a month to some woman who will never touch them IRL, they could instead put that $600~$700 into having a real (pretend) date with a real (actual) woman they get to have sex with AND, if they're a decent professional, will even provide some aftercare to feed into that emotional connection as it can lead to repeated bookings.

They were already on a slow decline from Oct to Dec 2023, where good streams and interesting events were far and few in between. I can recall Calm Lurker (what’s your new name now?) talking about how empty it felt like as a NijiEN fan as the only consistent streamers were Aia and Reimu.

Funny how Riku and the NijiEN management think that producing 3D content will save them from the upcoming apocalypse. The only good side from this Niji shitshow is that 3-view indies and small corpos have benefited from the shift in viewership.

Did Cover drop the ball with how they handled the whole Taiwan and Anti-Situation? I don't think anyone would disagree with that. But in the end they made the right decision with just dissolving Hololive CN and leaving Bilibili. Which honestly, in the long term has been a good decision in my opinion. Imagine a Hololive that is still beholden to Winnie the Pooh? Do you think Taiwan would have had any collabs with Hololive?

Cover did actively try to combat the harassment she got. But sadly a lot of the issues at the time stemmed with YouTube's shit way of dealing with mass botting, an issue that is still ongoing as is noticeable by the constant viewbotting by butthurt /vt/ users. And during Coco's interview with Yagoo, they both express that they really tried to find a common ground whereby Coco could stay in Hololive, but just couldn't come to an agreement.

None of this screams that she was in fact forced out.

It did seem like there was an element of fuckery with her in Holo management, though - she was being told to stay away from EN for a while, having projects denied, etc - it didn't sound entirely unlike some of what we've heard from Niji more recently... It may have been more of a factional thing (some wanted her gone, others including Yagoo wanted to keep her) but it did seem like a significant factor in her deciding to leave....

She's done at least one video on an artist that possibly scammed vtubers (neonbeat drama) clickbait (as many do) and appears to be a small content creator who is hungry for views in the first place.. which means buying expensive commissions might not be the best move economically.
Just from a quick search I could find a fansly too, so maybe she can afford it at the end of the day, but she'd also not be the first person to spend more than they can afford on fanart or their characters as anyone that has interacted with the FFXIV community might know and she has complained about the prices before.

I'm not used to actually posting here so, I'll just say you can probably find far more if you dig deeper into it.
